For those with Hashimotos, finding your "root cause" is important.
Being aware and "in tune" with your body is key. Is there a food group or type that aggravates your thyroid more than others?
Take notice of changes:
Does your thyroid ache after eating certain foods?
Do you get lethargic?
Do your feel depressed or grouchy after eating certain foods?
Bloated or achy?
Bread is definitely my Thyroid Enemy #1 (sadly). I've changed over my routine to substituting romaine lettuce in place of bread. . .and I'm off pizza (ugh).
